Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Kindbee collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to kindbee.io and the Kindbee review-reply service.

1. What data we collect
When you use Kindbee, we collect the following:
- Account information: your name, email address, business name, and business category, provided when you sign up.
- Google account information: when you connect your Google Business Profile, Google provides us with the profile and location identifiers needed to access your reviews, plus OAuth access and refresh tokens.
- Review data: the reviews on your connected Google Business Profile, including reviewer display name, star rating, review text, and timestamps.
- Reply content: the AI-drafted replies we generate and the replies you approve and publish.
- Public information about nearby businesses: to power your Reputation Score benchmark, we retrieve publicly available business information — such as business name, category, star rating, and review count — about similar businesses near you. This is public data, accessed through Google's public Places data; we never access those businesses' private accounts or your private Google data about them.
- Billing information: handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer reference, not your full card details.
2. How we use your data
- To monitor your connected Google Business Profile for new reviews.
- To generate personalized, professional reply drafts using AI.
- To publish replies to Google on your behalf, but only after you explicitly approve each reply.
- To calculate your Reputation Score from your own reviews, combining your rating, reply rate, and recent momentum into a single score, and to benchmark it against publicly available information about similar businesses nearby. We never use your private Google Business Profile data to assess any other business.
- To send you notifications and a daily digest email about new reviews and pending replies.
- To provide support, manage your subscription, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your Google review data for advertising.
3. Google API Services and Limited Use
Kindbee's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access your Google Business Profile data to provide the review-monitoring, reply, and reputation features you sign up for, and we never transfer or use that data for unrelated purposes. Your Reputation Score benchmark relies on publicly available information about other businesses, not on private data from your or anyone else's Google account.
4. Third parties we share data with
We share only the minimum data needed with trusted service providers:
- Google: to read your reviews and post the replies you approve.
- Anthropic (Claude): review text is sent to generate reply drafts. It is not used to train Anthropic's models.
- Stripe: to process subscription payments securely.
- Resend: to deliver notification and digest emails.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and review data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and delete your account, we delete your personal data and stored Google tokens within 30 days, except where we are required to keep limited records (for example, billing records) to meet legal obligations.
6. Your rights and choices
- Revoke Kindbee's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account security settings.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Disconnect a business location or stop monitoring at any time from your dashboard.
7. Cookies and analytics
Kindbee uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the service, for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the product; these do not build advertising profiles of you. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the service may not function without the strictly necessary ones.
8. Data security
Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, all data is transmitted over HTTPS, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
